Cách đây 15 năm có một bộ phim tâm lý hành động Đài Loan ra mắt khán giả truyền hình Việt Nam và đã gặt hái được thành công vang dội, để lại ấn tượng sâu đậm trong lòng người xem, những cái tên Như Ý, Đoan Khang, Vương Thế Sương từ đó trở thành tâm điểm ái mộ của màn bạc. Chỉ cần nhắc đến thế thôi chắc bạn đọc cũng đã nhận ra bộ phim được đề cập trong bài viết lần này là phim gì

Mạt Đại Hoàng Tôn (1995)

Đóng máy năm 1992 và công chiếu ở Việt Nam năm 1995, Mạt Đại Hoàng Tôn (The Imperial Wanderers) tập trung khai thác bi kịch cuộc sống, những ngang trái trong tình yêu, những khó khăn tranh đấu, những dối lừa man trá của mỗi cá nhân giữa bối cảnh sóng gió chung của dân tộc. Phim đặt vào thời kỳ Thanh mạt khi lịch sử đang sang trang mới, cách mạng Tân Hợi nổ ra làm triều đình phong kiến cuối cùng của Trung Hoa lung lay đến tận gốc rễ. Đoan Khang và Như Ý là con của hai gia đình đại quý tộc gốc Mãn Châu, đem lòng yêu thương nhau nhưng mối tình của họ bị gia đình Đoan Khang phản đối kịch liệt. Trong buổi chạng vạng của thời cuộc, gia đình của Như Ý và Đoan Khang đều lụi bại, mất hết quyền lực và tài sản …

Trong cảnh hoạn nạn, Như Ý được Thế Xương giúp đỡ, sau đó cô quyết định lấy Thế Xương để trả ơn vì tưởng Đoan Khang đã chết. Ít lâu sau, tình cờ hai người gặp lại nhau nhưng giờ đây Như Ý đã là vợ Thế Xương. Biết vợ mình còn nặng lòng với Đoan Khang, Thế Xương ngầm tìm mọi cách hãm hại tình địch. Như Ý cùng Đoan Khang bỏ trốn nhưng không thành, Như Ý bị thương nặng vì muốn tránh liên lụy nên lén bỏ đi …

Sau nhiều nỗ lực tìm kiếm không thành công, mọi người đều cho rằng Như Ý đã chết. Sự hận thù giữa Thế Xương và Đoan Khang vì thế ngày càng sâu đậm. Thời gian qua đi mấy năm, Đoan Khang cảm nhận được tấm lòng của người bạn tâm giao là Tiểu Bảo nên đồng ý lập gia đình với cô. Hardware

In terms of standard connectivity, the iPad offers Wi-Fi (802.11n) and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, with 3G models also offering cellular data connectivity. All iPad models have an accelerometer, compass, speakers, a microphone, and a 30-pin dock connector. No USB, no camrea, no HDMI, no DVI, not even a Mini DisplayPort The iPad also offers a claimed 10 hours of battery life for viewing video, with 1 month of standby battery life.

Software
The iPad runs iPhone OS 3.2 with built-in standard apps for personal information management, including Address Book, Calendar, E-mail, Safari, Google Maps, and Notes. A special version of iTunes and iWork are on board to provide an optimized experience on the device’s 9.7-inch screen. Apple also unveiled new app called iBooks featuring a 3D virtual bookshelf with a user’s personal collection. It will contains a link to the iBookstore which allows users to purchase and download books from a variety of publishers.

Other apps can be brought from Apple Online Store, just like how you download and sync for iPhone before.


Note: there will be no multitasking at all, which mean no video streaming while you are working on iPad. No Flash too. And the iBooks app might work only in the US

Pricing
Depends on model and capacity, the iPad starts from $ 499. Models with 3G will be unlocked and will be able to use GSM micro SIMs. In the U.S., AT&T will offer two data plan options – $14.99 for up to 250MB/month and $29.99/month for unlimited data. No contract is required for either option, and free access to AT&T’s Wi-Fi hot spots is included. Data packages for iPad users outside of the U.S. will by in place by June.

For the upcoming weeks, there will be boom and wow in cinemas worldwide with following movies debut: Avatar, Sherlock Holmes, Bodyguards and Assassins, The Storm Warriors II

1. Avatar (2009):

It is said to believe that ‘Avatar’ is one of the best 3D movie of this year. And undoubtedly, one will confirm after watching it ‘Avatar’ is a work done with extraordinary skill; especially a supreme intellectual or artistic achievement. Thanks to James Cameron, father of Terminator series and blockbuster Titanic, audience’s 3D experience is now up to a highest level, ever!

2. Sherlock Holmes (2009):

Everyone loves the greatest detective of all times – Sherlock Holmes This year, director Guy Ritchie portraits the legendary detective in a whole new story with tag line Nothing Escapes Him: detective Sherlock Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson this time will engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England.

Robert Downey brings the beloved Holmes to life as he has never been portrayed before. Jude Law stars as Holmes’ trusted colleague, Watson, a doctor and war veteran who is a formidable ally for Sherlock Holmes. Rachel McAdams stars as Irene Adler, the only woman ever to have bested Holmes and who has maintained a tempestuous relationship with the detective. Mark Strong stars as their mysterious new adversary, Blackwood. Kelly Reilly will play Watson’s love interest, Mary.

Sherlock Holmes is releasing by Christmas Eve this year, probably not the best time but who knows, Jude Law and Robert Downey are attractive enough to beat the cold weather

3. Bodyguards and Assassins (2009):

Surprisingly enough, I always found Asia movies during holiday season are better than its Hollywood counterpart, despite the count on ticket sales Bodyguards and Assassins, which is hoped to be another hit like IP Man (Diệp Vấn), is a Chinese action/drama film featuring an all-star cast including Donnie Yen, Leon Lai, Tony Leung, and Fan Bingbing.

The film tells the story of a group of bodyguards protecting Sun Yat Sen – Tôn Trung Sơn from assassins in 1905. In the distance of thirteen blocks, the one man who holds a nations fate must survive relentless attempts on his life with only five bodyguards to protect him. Against hundreds of assassins, these men must put their courage to the test in order to protect the hopes of millions in this perilous night even if it means fighting to the death

The film is more of a political drama than is perhaps hinted at in the film’s marketing, but an engrossing and highly effective one. The context of this turbulent and volatile period of Chinese history is carefully executed and the director (Teddy Chen) ensures the drama is always placed ahead of any particular political agenda Movie goers will also enjoy the scenes of Hong Kong during 1905, which is fantastically re-created on screen, thanks to a combination of vast outdoor sets seamlessly complimented by CGI landscapes. Bodyguards and Assassins is already on air in Malaysia and Singapore this week and in Cantonese.

4. The Storm Warriors (2009):

Aka Fung wan II or The Storm Riders 2, The Storm Warriors would finally come to screen after 10 years from its first movie Storm Riders.

Japanese evil warlord Lord Godless desired to conquer China. He imprisoned a large number of martial artists and tried to make them subjugate. Among the prisoners were Cloud and the martial arts elder statesman Nameless. Wind came to the rescue. The trio was badly wounded by Lord Godless’s evil martial arts attack. The remaining martial artists sacrificed their lives to save the trio, in the hope that the trio would beat Lord Godless one day and save the country … If you read Fung Wan (Phong Vân) comics by Ma Wing Shing (Mã Vinh Thành), you probably knew the rest. If you don’t, then try out the movie

Words that best summarize ‘The Storm Warriors’ are: Loads of CGIs, exceptionally good effects, plenty of slow-mo fight scenes and little emotional scenes, worth-mentioned actors Aaron Kwok and Ekin Cheng, and can be improved! Truly, one should not expect too much on story line and plots
