As much as I love Hollywood movies, I also follow the Hong Kong market closely for new films and I must say it never lets me down Exquisite taste, creative storyline, intellectual dialogs, excellent actions, amazing casts, beautiful scenes, …, you name it; some of them went even beyond what one could describe, simply speechless ^^ This decade presents you many great films that should not be missed, let’s should not waste any more time and start rolling the below list (movies are listed in no particular order). I feel that I’m free during the last few days in 2006, so I spend time to sort out which could be the best Asian movies in 2006. Apparently, more and more great movies are produced from China, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, and Thailand. It’s hard to believe that someone doesn’t like Asian masterpiece like Infernal Affairs Trilogy or Chan-wook Park’s horror series. Now, if we only count on year 2006, which movie will you nominate? Below are those movies I picked as the best Asian movies, in no particular order.

The new year is coming, just one more week to go before we celebrate 2007 . I want to write my end year article to sum up those goodies I found that could be Best on the Web throughout 2006. It should miss some websites (I’m sure it does), so please add more if you think they should be on the list.

“The Marine“ (2006) got my attention with its main character played by John Cena – the American professional wrestler, not metion its interesting trailer; but after watching this movie, I’m sure that John Cane cannot be as famous as he could become from the World Wrestling Entertainment. This action movie is meant for killing time only, trust me Classical action with big explosions and one steel-man tried all his best to save his wife.
