“300″ – Sneak Preview, Song, Photos

Here it comes, one of the top-most anticipated movies in Spring 2007; “300” will be shown in Singapore on 8th March 
. “300″ is an adaptation of Frank Miller’s epic graphic novel using hyper-real renderings similar to Miller’s own graphically stylized illustrations. The film retells the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas led his 300 elite Spartan warriors, fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army.
Anyone who watched Sin City before would know the unique rendering effects by Frank Miller; and this time, he did it again. Another amazing combination of live actions and virtual backgrounds showing his distinct vision of the ancient historic tale.
The HD trailer of “300″ could be seen as the best one amongst online movie trailers this year. See it to believe (Apple trailer site). Although the trailer is too long, somehow covers almost all the story

FYI: Golden Village and Cathay Singapore will have “300″ aired one day ahead of schedule: 7 March (instead of 8 March). Book your seats early to avoid any disappointments

I’m just back from the cinema
as much as I expected, “300″ was a very good popcorn movie: bloody, violent, brutal fighting, sexy, and yet great background music. Definitely worth 2 hours watching 
It was customary in Sparta that before the males would go off to war, their wives or another female of some significance would present them with their shield and say: “he tan, he epi tas” (Ή τάν ή Επί τᾶς), which translates to “With this, or upon this.”

there were a lot of facts we missed before going to the movie
Anyway, quite good movie with lots of killing. rate 6.0

“Only a Spartan women can give birth to a real man” said Queen Gorgo when the Persian emissary insulted her. By all means, Spartans do respect their wives. Also what Queen Gorgo told King Leonidas with the shield was literally the law according to which the Spartans went to war.
The movie is mainly for killing only, I just love the visual effect and the sound
– if we want to know more about the fact, Wikipedia or this blog (courtesy from ZZZ) is more useful 
this movie not real only this.
