TIME – The year 2007 in Images

2008 is around the corner, did you spend sometime looking back to 2007 I bet you’re too busy for that TIME already captured the moments of year 2007 in images, from the campaign trail to wildfires in California to war in Iraq.

The Killer Among Us
The class photograph of Seung-Hui Cho is isolated in the 2002 yearbook of Westfield High School in Falls Church, Virginia. Twenty-three-year old Cho went on a shooting rampage that claimed the lives of 32 Virginia Tech students and faculty members.

Besides those photos picked by TIME, I would like to add one more photo of Benazir Bhutto (1953 – 2007): the first woman elected to lead a Muslim state. She was twice elected as Prime Minister of Pakistan. She was assassinated on 27 December 2007, in a combined shooting and suicide bomb attack.
