Movies to watch in November 07

October seems to be a quiet time for movie-goers November is coming with many movies which I believe will cause storm in cinemas.

1. Hitman (2007)

Adapted from the hugely famous Eidos game, Hitman retells the story of Agent 47 (Deadwood’s Timothy Olyphant) who has been educated to become a professional assassin for hire, whose most powerful weapons are his nerve and a resolute pride in his work.

But the hunter becomes the hunted when 47 gets caught up in a political takeover. Both Interpol and the Russian military chase the Hitman across Eastern Europe as he tries to find out who set him up and why they’re trying to take him out.

Most believe his very existence is a sin… but others know he is a necessary evil

The ‘Ave Maria’ trailer looks so promising Hitman will hit the cinema worldwide by 21 November 2007.

2. The Kingdom (2007)

Violent, intense, thrilling, and moving; The Kingdom is definitely worth of your money When a terrorist bomb detonates inside a Western housing compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, an international incident is ignited. While diplomats slowly debate equations of territorialism, FBI Special Agent Ronald Fleury (Jamie Foxx) quickly assembles an elite team and negotiates a secret five-day trip into Saudi Arabia to locate the madman behind the bombing.

Now in a fight for their own lives, strangers united by one mission won’t stop until justice is found in “The Kingdom”.

As far as the trailer goes, we may think the movie is political related; but in fact it’s not Let’s wait and see on 21 November 2007.

3. Beowulf (2007)

Beowulf is a fantasy movie due to be released on November 16th, 2007. Beowulf is based on an old English poem following the Scandinavian warrior Winstone as he takes on the legendary monster Grendel.

In the age of heroes comes the mightiest warrior of them all, Beowulf. After destroying the overpowering demon Grendel, he incurs the undying wrath of the beast’s ruthlessly seductive mother (Angelina Jolie), who will use any means possible to ensure revenge. The ensuing epic battle resonates throughout the ages, immortalizing the name of Beowulf.

In ridding the kingdom of this savage beast, Beowulf gains fame and fortune for himself. Great riches and overwhelming temptations are thrown at him. How wisely he chooses to handle his newfound power will forever define his fate as a warrior, a champion, a leader, a husband and, most importantly, as a man

If you favor Anthony Hopkins and Angelina Jolie then you don’t want to miss Beowulf. Check out its game-intro-style trailer:

4. Saw IV (2007)

Saw I, II, III, and now IV – it will never be enough for the mind game when one has to appreciate life and face death. I’m so in love with Saw series After Saw III, the master of puppet – Jigsaw – and his apprentice Amanda are dead.

Upon the news of Detective Kerry’s murder, two seasoned FBI profilers (Strahm and Perez), arrive in the terrified community to assist the veteran Detective Hoffman in sifting through Jigsaw’s latest grizzly remains and piecing together the puzzle.

However, when SWAT Commander Rigg is abducted and thrust into a game, the last officer untouched by Jigsaw has but ninety minutes to overcome a series of demented traps and save an old friend or face the deadly consequences.

It’s extremely amazing how the filmmakers are able to keep coming up with fresh ideas for new traps, but here the traps serve as metaphors for their victims rather than just being cool and scary to behold.

Saw IV is not for kid, view discretion is strongly strongly advised
