Die Hard 4 – Live Free or Die Hard (2007)

diehard4_2.jpgDie Hard 4 aired yesterdaty in KL, much sooner than I thought; it was supposed to come out this Wed 4/7.

As expected, detective John McClane (by Bruce Willis) returns in Die Hard 4 to continue his most extremely successful action-packed series in history. Live free or Die Hard will blow you away in the 2 hours full of great actions, lovely cast, hilarious dialogs, and solid storyline.

The only boring aspect of Die Hard 4 is the background music. I almost didn’t recognize that they eventually have a soundtrack played at all

If you remember those breathtaking moments with McClane in the last 3 Die Hard episodes which all happended during Christmas Eve, you find it again in Die Hard 4; but this time is during the Independent Day of US, July 4th. McClane today faces another challenge while dealing with cyber-crimes which almost brings down the entire nation ; and he needs help from a technological savvier who, indeed, incredibly played by Justin Long.

The movie runs very fast, after it ends, you gonna ask yourself where did the time go It’s the explosion scences, shootings, fightings – powered by CGI fantasy for practical action set pieces – that make Die Hard 4 stick in your mind. They are hugely amazing and very well crafted. One of the top must-view movies for this summer. Gather your friends and rush to the cinema, you won’t waste a single buck paid for the ticket

You just killed a Helicopter with a Car!

P.S 1: KL cinemas are so adorable. The timing is exact, perfectly on the dot without ads or waiting. It was like the move is already playing when you enter the hall. Five stars rated for Tanjong Golden Village (TGV)

Transformer (2007)

transformers1.jpgThe battle between Protector and Destroyer in our own world has been capturing the viewers’ attentions for months, and this week, Transformer comes to your screen. Beging well-informed, fully-wikipedia-digged; I still have to hold my breath. Trust me, you will be happy because Transformers totally kicked ass Damnz, I’m still under its impression right now …

There’s something else about Transformer I should have mentioned: its soundtracks are fantastic , not only What I’ve done by Linkin Park but also other songs – right track @ right time.

Michael Bay spent a short moment to talk about US politics and that was a funny way of being serious. Thumb up

Transformers, it’s more than meets the eyes

I liked Live Free or Die Hard…Check out my review at Cold Leftovers.
As action movies go, it was pretty good, i think. Maybe not the best of the four, but worthy of the Die Hard name…

Nice review David Glad that you also like Die Hard 4, it’s always one of my favorite action-packed film. It looks like they could eventually come out with Die Hard 5 next year
