Statistics can feel abstract and anesthetizing. It’s pretty true that many times we have no idea what a raw number reflects like 426,000 cell phones ‘retired’ daily in US or 106,000 aluminium cans used in US every 30 seconds … Such figures cannot represent the overwhelming affects of the inhabitance in the US; and that’s what the series “Running the Numbers” created by photographic artist, Chris Jordan, brought to us
